The Terminal (what a saving grace)... Iba talaga si Spielberg because the ending is very unpredictable, sa una hindi ko nagustuhan ang ending pero when I tried to meditate why does that critically-acclaimed movie go that unconventional way, well after I had tried to recall the whole plot itself with its accompanying life-lessons to be learned, well may punto talaga si Spielberg
... The story is all about the value of WAITING (obviously The Terminal ang pamagat ehehe, literal din itich) kahit yung mga maliliit na eksensa ay nagpapakita na: sa buhay ay kailangang maghintay. Basta panoorin niyo na lang and for me it's one of the best, sa dami ba naman ng mga pelikulang napanood ko na halos lahat ay walang sense, siguro naman masasabi ko this time na ito talagang pelikulang ito ay siguradong may mapupulot ka na hehe (bato ka na kung wala kang mapulot, ikaw ang pupulutin sa kangkungan *biro*
) Here's the little synopsis of the movie: Si Tom Hanks (Viktor Navorski) dito was restricted in the airport by some authorities since his passport to the US became invalid kasi 2x wala siyang COUNTRY yet hehe (ay hindi rin makulet si Spielberg
)!! He was therefore never allowed to step even a toe in the US soil as well as to return in his still unrecognized country (revolution took place kc) that according to the field boss on that movie who had always had a fixed eye on him, he's a nation's risk and allowing him to go out and be free in NYC is a serious violation for this field boss who knows only nothing but rules! Sa airport lang siya tuloy tumira for many months! Finding ways to get daily meals, friends on that large mall-like airport and even to the extent of finding romance were his rollercoaster experience... From this movie there's one big lesson that strikes me most: that patience is a virtue and even though it is very impossible for someone to achieve happiness no matter how little it is for others, if what you wanna get really is what you deserve no matter how harsh the world might be, destiny will always do its way to give you help for you to become a better person (unwittingly of course) or surprisingly life with all of its unseen forces will just wait for you (nag-essay pa si kumang ehehe
)... Si Hanks sa movie na ito is totally 'alien' sa English language and therefore he can't understand most people around him and the amazing part was: how was he able to get what he wanted in the end despite this big language barrier at the very first place?? Impossibility is indeed never a fact but an opinion... So much for that but I'm gonna tell you that the answer is inspiring in a qustion so trivial...
! Only Elisha Cuthbert makes sense for me on that comic movie
...

Ganda talaga ni Zhang Ziyi dito!!!
::. House of Flying Daggers is another movie I watched! Pero OK lang ehehe aside from the traditonal reason of that's the way life goes, ganon talaga ang daloy ng story at kailangan siyang mamatay. It's all about sacrificing for love even to sacrifice your own blood, secondly lang siguro ang mga malulupit na fighting scenes(martial arts), and thirdly naman ang political chaos way way back 859 AD (Tang Dynasty), in my own humble opinion ha ehehe? Lupit ng plot, astig! Maraming surprises, parang ganito, BULAGA!!! ehehe! Napansin ko rin na ung The Terminal at itong House of Flying Daggers have in common because destiny and fate really are not two different things (kumang synonymous nga sila ehh), sa The Terminal, Viktor gets what he has wanted because he had been already destined to get it 'cause in that story when you try to go deeply, he literally waits but he doesn't know that life itself waits for him to finally get it, get it wahehe
?? Thus, isn't it destiny when life already had known that you'll gonna get it before you get it, get it wahehe
?? Sa House of Flying Daggers naman, two lovers were JUST supposed to play a game kasi as far as rules were concerned they were from two opposing sides of political bodies and it really is detrimental for both parties they had pleged allegiance with if ever they fell for each other! Eh ito namang dalawang gago nag-fell for each other nga FOR REAL ehehe at hindi na laro w/c is supposed to be in order for them to terminate each other's opposing political intentions! Patay, no matter how real or strong their love for each other were, tsk tsk fate sadly brought one of them to death at si Mei nga ang tinamaan ng malas ehehe (as Mei says in the movie one must die if they meet each other)!! Pero hindi rin siya malas e no?? Kasi even up to her death she really has realized how real Jin's love has been for her! Basta ganon ang sweet, my butt was attacked by ants na nga e...
